Hi there! I just found your website today. I have been listening to a few of your podcasts, because I am now a food coach and healthy weight educator.
I must tell you though - I am one of those people who have actually lost weight for good as far as I am concerned. I am 5"8' and lost 30 kgs (66 lbs in USA measurements) coming up for 15 years ago now. I used to weigh 90 kg but have maintained my weight of 60kg since losing it in 1992.
So there are some people who actually do it
I am skeptical about this 97% figure as well.
I chose to lose weight, part of the plan was a 'diet' that was 5 years ago, I have added more exercise as well as eating better (most of the time) I have not intention of putting weight back on.
I know a lot of people who took control and lost weight, and kept it off.
